Moving to Madang

Since I last wrote.  I attended Numanohi Christian Acadamy  for 2 terms, and I moved to Madang again after almost 4 years away.

Photo: Add some pets and we are on our way!
Our car was stuffed!  I carried an owl and guinea pigs all the way there. It took 7 hours.

Photo: This is from when we moved a few months ago, but Ian saw it and wanted it for his blog...this is the easiest way to upload from our phone (=
Here is a picture of my dad when we were driving from Goroka to Madang

Halfway through the trip, I got to see Yunke Dam.  It is where they make power for a lot of PNG.

Let me tell you about my life in Madang.

I have 2 black capped lorikeets, named Rainbow and Flicker. I also got a new kitten named Acorn.  Flicker and Acorn try to fight, but really, they are too afraid of each other to actually do it.

Photo: They are friends right now...I wonder how long that will last?
See? They are not fighting?

I do a lot of ocean kayaking down here.  I live next to the beach.  Specifically next to the Bismark Sea which is part of the South Pacific.

Photo: Super Ian!

Sometimes I catch a starfish.  They are usually blue and bigger than my hand. There are a lot of coral reefs here, they aren't that colorful, but they are cool.  Once there was one that was not that sharp, and I got out of the kayak and stood on it. I see a lot of reef fish, black and white striped ones, silver ones that hop out of the water, and tiny bright blue ones.

I went fishing last night. I caught one and got it out of the water.  I was trying to grab it when it wiggled off the hook and back into the water.

I play outside a lot with my friends.  Sometimes we play tag in a tree or a game called "grounders" on the playground.  Whoever is it has to have their eyes closed.
